sensitised afflictions

contact dermatitis,

bitter relief.

prolonging my inevitable

regardless,

microwaved soup

homemade -

situational improvement

succinctly undercooked

bowl scolds fingers

lukewarm vegetable

life on schedule

tick box activity

veneer of ordinary life

whatever that means.

sat in displacement

scrambling for notions of comfort

nullified through menial tasks

repetition as saviour,

and change for spring.
